The Applied AI Club helps students understand how artificial intelligence is used to solve real challenges in business and drive smarter decisions.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build a community where students can learn how AI is applied in real-world settings and explore the many ways it creates value in different areas of business.

We help Penn State students understand how AI is used in the workplace and throughout their future careers. Our focus is on understanding how businesses adopt and apply AI tools to improve their work.

The Applied AI Club brings together like-minded students who are curious about AI and want to learn and build together. We will discuss what is happening with AI, explore useful tools, and look at how different fields are using this technology today.

If you want to stay in the loop or help shape the direction of the club, don't hesitate to reach out. We are excited to connect with others who want to be part of what we are building.

What We Do

Events and Programming

We host guest speakers, run tool walkthroughs, and discuss how AI is changing business and the workplace. Meetings are open to all Penn State students regardless of major or experience.

Applied AI Labs

Labs is the research and development arm of the Applied AI Club. We run experiments, build tools, and give members who want to go deeper a place to work on real projects with real AI systems.

Explore AI

We maintain a registry of AI tools worth knowing, organized for students at every level. From beginner-friendly assistants to the agentic tools shaping the industry, it is a good place to start.

Our Team

Meet our Spring 2026 executive board. If you have questions, ideas, or want to learn more about the club, don’t hesitate to reach out.
